Anyone with an interest in any facet of farming or gardening will want to attend the 21st National Small Farm Trade Show & Conference Nov. 1-2 at the Central Missouri Event Center (formally known as the Boone County Fairgrounds) in Columbia, the largest annual small farm show in the United States!

or need to keep your small farm in operation, this year's trade show will
feature seminars, 3-hour short courses, demonstrations, association meetings

The
keynote speaker will be Dr. Robert L. Kinkead D.V.M., a practicing veterinarian
who has transitioned his cattle to mob grazing. Dr. Kinkead is a frequent
columnist in Small Farm Today magazine and has been a trade show speaker in the
past. Also, Greg Judy, nationally known expert on Rotational Grazing will be
speaking on Saturday morning. Other speakers will talk about heritage
breed livestock, sustainable crops, fruit trees, soil health, and much more.
Many
more informative topics will be addressed in the Round Table Talks, and
seminars. In addition, there will be several breeds of small farm livestock on
display and a poultry exhibition that are always crowd-pleasers at this
conference.
The
Central Missouri Event Center is along Highway 63 at the north edge of
Columbia.
